UPTOWN. This zoo, which opened in 1875, is the second oldest in the United States and houses more than 500 species of animals and 3,000 varieties of plants. Jungle Trails, Dragons of Komodo, Gorilla World, Lemur Lookout, and the Spaulding Children's Zoo are some of the popular attractions.
